I thought I should mention that Okemah was the opening band for Al & the Transamericans. Unfortunately I missed them while I was downstairs in the "Beer Joint" watching the Grassroots Rebels play as part of the Barack-N-Roll Election Bash. You can see a few members of Okemah in that last photo, though, joining Al for "Cripple Creek" at the end of the night.

This was a great night of music, and a strong reminder of all the good times that were had at this venue over the last decade or so.

Kudos to Greg Bell for, among other things, suggesting one more song, which led to a wonderful jam of the Grateful Dead's "Deal."

Nice! Good to see some Ruckus folks in there and some East Coast Mamas.

It's crazy - I think I saw my first moe. show at Valentines. The show was probably put on by Greg back then, and I probably met Greg for the first time at that venue too!

Anyway, thanks Michelle!
